What we fabricate

Eight services, one shop, one welder

Nothing here comes off a rack. Gates, doors, fences and railings are measured to your opening, designed with you — iron and wood combined, sliding or swing, ornamental or modern — and fabricated in the shop before the same hands install them at your home.

Why AZ Welding

Fabricated to fit, not forced to fit

A stock gate is built for an average opening your house does not have. A fabricated gate is built for YOUR opening, your wall, your slope and your taste — and that difference shows every single day you drive through it.

Custom designs, iron & wood combined

It is on the business card because it is the specialty: iron frames with wood or composite faces, arched or squared, ornamental scrollwork or clean modern slats. You choose the look; the shop makes it real.

Sliding & swing mechanisms

A gate is only as good as what moves it. Sliders, swing hinges, rollers and tracks are part of the fabrication, not an afterthought — and the same shop repairs them when someone else's gate starts to drag.

Built for the Arizona sun

Desert sun and monsoon dust destroy cheap finishes in seasons. Welded steel, real coatings and properly sealed wood are what keep a gate looking like the photos years after the install.

English & Spanish

One number — (602) 697-4195 — takes calls and WhatsApp in either language. The estimate, the design conversation and the follow-up all happen in the language that is easier for you.

How it works

From phone call to installed

1

Call or WhatsApp

Tell us your city and what you want built or fixed — a photo of the opening or the old gate tells us most of it. English or Spanish.

2

Free estimate + design

We measure the opening, look at the wall and the slope, and talk through the design with you — materials, style, slide or swing. Clear price before anything is cut.

3

Fabricated in the shop

Your piece is welded, fitted and finished in the shop — to your exact measurements, in your chosen materials, ready before install day.

4

Installed & clean

Install day is level, plumb and swinging smooth — mechanisms adjusted, site cleaned, and the gate working the way it will for years.

Arizona reality

The Valley runs on gates

Block walls, side yards, RV access, pool safety — almost every lot in the Valley needs iron somewhere. The difference between houses is whether that iron was fabricated for the home or bought to fit the average.

Every block wall wants a gate

The Valley's block walls all need gates, and most got the cheapest panel the builder could buy. A fabricated gate — iron and wood, arched or modern — is the upgrade the whole front of the house feels.

RV gates and wide sliders

Corner lots and RV access are a Valley classic — wide openings that stock panels never fit. Long sliders like the ones in our photos are fabricated to the exact span and the exact slope of your driveway.

Pool safety that looks good

Arizona pools need fencing — but safety does not have to look like a cage. Rail fences fabricated to match the house keep kids safe and the backyard beautiful at the same time.

Security is standard equipment

Security doors and window covers are everyday equipment in the Valley — and fabricated ones protect without embarrassing the house. Design first, bars second.

Who does the work

The gates are the résumé

AZ Welding Handyman is Manuel Jauregui's fabrication shop, based in Glendale and working across all of Arizona. The arched iron-and-wood driveway gates, the ornamental scrollwork, the modern slat fences, the pool rails, the welded stairs: every photo on this site came out of his shop and got installed by his hands. The cardinal on the logo is on the business card, and the slogan on the card is the standard — quality gates, security for your home.

The way of working is simple: you call or WhatsApp (602) 697-4195, in English or Spanish, and you are talking to the welder himself — not an office. He comes to see the opening, designs the piece with you, fabricates it in the shop, and installs it. Free estimates, honest answers, and a finished product that looks like the photos on this page — because it is made by the same person who made them.

Common questions

Straight answers

Is the estimate really free?

Yes — it says so on the business card. We come measure the opening, look at the wall and the access, talk through the design, and give you a clear price. It costs you nothing, and nothing gets fabricated until you approve the price and the design.

Can you match a design I saw somewhere?

Usually, yes — that is the point of fabrication. Bring a photo, a sketch or just an idea: arched or squared, scrollwork or clean slats, iron alone or iron and wood combined. We design it with you at the estimate and build exactly what you approved.

Do you repair gates you didn't build?

Yes — gate repairs are on the card. Sagging gates, dragging sliders, worn rollers, broken hinges, latches that never lined up: a shop that fabricates gates knows exactly why they fail and how to fix them so they stay fixed.

Iron, wood or composite — which should I choose?

It depends on the look you want and the maintenance you will actually do. Iron alone is the most secure and lowest maintenance; wood faces bring warmth but want sealing; composite gives the wood look with less upkeep. Most of our gates combine an iron frame with wood or composite faces — the strength of one, the beauty of the other. We will tell you honestly at the estimate.

Do you work outside the Valley?

Yes — the shop is in Glendale, the everyday circuit is the Valley, and the service area is all of Arizona. A fabricated gate travels well: it is built in the shop and installed wherever you are. Call or WhatsApp and tell us your city.

How long does a custom gate take?

It depends on the design and the shop's queue — a repair often happens within days, a full custom fabrication is measured, built and installed on a schedule we agree at the estimate. You get a real date, not a guess, and you hear from us if anything changes.

Where we work

Glendale, the Valley, and all of Arizona

GlendalePhoenixPeoriaSurpriseAvondaleMesaand all of Arizona

The Valley is not one yard — a Glendale block wall wants a gate worth looking at, a Peoria new-build wants modern horizontal slats, a Mesa historic district carries ornamental iron worth matching, and a Surprise pool needs a fence that does not look like a cage. From the Glendale shop, every one of these cities is everyday territory — and the rest of Arizona is a drive, not a problem.
